My Yahoo emails stopped showing up in any of the unified folders they should be shown in. The emails are downloaded and available if I look for them under the Yahoo account but are not part of the unified list. I have repaired all of the folders and compacted all of the folders to try to correct this without any luck. I am using Thunderbird 24.6.0 with the lightning 2.6.6 calendar and the manually sort folders 1.1 add ons. Everything was working fine for many weeks and stopped last week without any noticeable change. I manually download and install updates and the only system updates (Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1) have been to Windows Defender (definition files) and to Norton Security Suite (also definition files). Yahoo is configured as an IMAP account. I hope I provided all the info you might need to help. I really prefer to use the unified folders if possible. I also tried the following per a similar thread.

Help menu (Alt +H) > troubleshooting information Click the show folder button. Close Thunderbird open the mail folder open the smart mailboxes folder Delete the inbox and inbox.msf files Restart Thunderbird.

This did not help.

Thank you for the help, and so quickly. I checked for the "Match all messages" radio button and found it set correctly. I also noticed a line reading "Select folders to search" next to a radio button labeled "Choose ..." I clicked on the "Choose ..." button and found that the check box next to Yahoo Inbox was empty so I checked it. Problem solved. I appreciate the help you provided. I'm not sure I would have found the answer if you didn't point me in the right direction.

Right click on "inbox" at the top of the folder pane (the inbox that has child folders for each accounts inbox) and select "Properties". Check that the search criteria uses the radio button for "Match all messages" and that there are no additional criteria. Typically you'll see a greyed out "Subject" "contains" and a empty field followed by the plus and minus buttons.

Please confirm.
