Since I updated to Firefox 30, any flash makes Firefox freeze (I have to force kill it).

- HTML5 video works - Disabling hardware acceleration did not help. - Uninstalling/reinstalling the latest version of Flash did not help. - Safe-mode (addons disabled) did not help.

I don't have any crash reports, as this is not a crash, but rather a freeze.

What can I do short of reinstalling the old version of Firefox (very annoying, would lose addons and config) or switching to another browser?

As it turns out, rebooting solved the problem. Should have tried that before. Rebooting is always the answer. I did also update to 10.9.4 in the process, so that may have had an impact, although I suspect not.
