I am unable to turn off url auto complet. I tried using "about:config" and turned the "browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled" to "false", but without any change. I DON'T WANT AUTOCOMPLETE! It is making me crazy because every time I start to type a URL it automatically completes it to something I don't want. Then I have to delete the URL and type again before I can browse.

Hello

When you are typing the URL, is the autocompleted/autofilled portion highlighted?

more options

No it simply compltes the URL. Example: if I type f it will automatically add facebook.com making the address look like ffacebook.com or facebook.comf. No highlights

If you are using a Samsung phone this is a known issue that will be fixed by our Firefox 32 release on Tuesday September 2 around noon Pacific time.
