I can hear Youtube videos in HTML5, but the video screen is just black. I also checked the videos on https://videos.cdn.mozilla.net/uploads/mozillaorg/ and I can hear only sound in all the MP4 videos, the rest of them play fine.

If I open FF in safe mode, then it plays fine, so I'm not sure if the problem is because of addons, but it started exactly after the update to 32.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
