I just finished rebuilding my entire system after a massive crash, and got Thunderbird working again. But I notice it's only checking for one of my four e-mail accounts when I click Get Messages. I have to click each of the other three individually to get mail from them. Why is that happening, and how can I fix it?

Thanks!!

the get mail button has only ever collected mail from the "current" mail account. With pop mail accounts using the global inbox the "current account" is the local folder and all the mail accounts that drop mail there.

I am guessing your "New" setup is using iumap accounts (that is the default selection in the new account wizard) or pop accounts that do not use the global inbox (You can change pop accounts to use the global inbox, but IMAP accounts must have their own folders.)

Instead of using the button, try pressing Shift+F5
