My mozilla shows only a black screen and no commands left click commands work. How would I fix this?

When I open up a window the border is plain and within you see no tabs. It still has the minimize, maximize, and close button. If I left click within the mozilla window, the box of options is all black as well. If I left click the mozilla on the task bar I sitll get the options to open new tabs and whatnot but they have no affect on the window (nothing visually happens/ changes). This happened for me after a 10/15/2014 update. I base this on the file dates found on my local disk. Any clues on what's up with my Mozilla? Any suggestions on a possible fix?

Sorry, please disable hardware acceleration as a temporary workaround. This is an incompatibility between Firefox 33 and some older graphics card/chipset drivers. More info: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1025438
