My operating system is Windows 7. My browser is Firefox. The past three days I haven't been able to access my gmail account except by html view. I don't want to view gmail with html. Firefox says I don't have an email account. I did until three days ago! I am able to access my email on my laptop which has the Vista operating system and Firefox as my browser. How do I get access to my email account on my desktop?

hello jasavage, maybe try to clear the cache & cookies from google.com, reload the page & see if gmail is working afterwards...

Your suggestions didn't work. When I click on the menu icon in firefox it gives me a screen with some options, one being 'mail link'. I click on that and I get the message "There is no email program associated to perform requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." I tried that but didn't see anything that suggested it was for email. I even copied the address bar on my laptop for my gmail program, but it didn't work on my desktop computer, either. I am at a loss and may have to take it to a computer repair place. I anyone has any other suggestions, I am open to hearing them.

cor-el I tried your suggestions and they didn't work either. I guess it's time to take it to the computer shop. Thanks for the suggestions.
