For the last 10 (ten) days, on a Xoom running Android 4.1.2 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 running Android (cyanogen) 4.2.2, Nightly 37 NO LONGER runs. It crashes on Open and does NOT generate an Error Report Box.

Tried a full uninstall with Cache and Data cleared, more than 10 reboots on tablets, new download of latest Android version.

Install ends without error, tries to Open Nightly and immediate Crash (no error report box) (Unfortunately, Nightly has stopped)

There used to be 2 different Android possible download files (arm and i386 ??) and now there is only one (multi), and I know the Arm version caused this bug when I tried to use it. The i386 worked fine. Now, since there is only ONE choice, Nightly no longer works.

Why? Solution?

It seems I have been BANNED from re-installing Nightly BECAUSE I posted negative comments about the new, FORCED installed, Search function on my Tablets and laughed at Firefox for using the Spam Haven Yahoo as a search partner.

Is anyone else keeping count of how many days this app has NOT been working????

No one cares.

2 weeks and still NO SOLUTION.

Ok then, we all have to conclude, Firefox no longer supports Android tablets and don't care about users input.

This will be my last post.

It seems we now have to switch to Google Chrome.

There are only a few Android experts on this support forum. Holidays, travel and general busyness have prevented me from responding to many questions recently.

We are in the middle of doing some work to split the Android 2.3 support into a smaller separate apk. This has broken the links for http://nightly.mozilla.org. In the mean time you can find the version of Firefox for Android that supports Android 3.0+ at http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/nightly/latest-mozilla-central-android-api-11/

and Android 2.3 builds at http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/nightly/latest-mozilla-central-android-api-9/

nightly.mozilla.org will be fixed when https://github.com/mozilla/nocturnal/pull/33 is merged into production.
