I'm not able to remove a toolbar from my Firefox browser and I don't want it anymore. I am a Mac user and I don't know how to do this and don't know where my options are to make this move or remove the toolbar? Thank you all for your support and suggestions and Happy New Years guys!

Some extensions install locally to your Firefox settings folder and these are easiest to remove: there should be a Remove button on the Add-ons page. But in other cases, the extensions may be in a shared folder. You can Disable them on the Add-ons page, but you may have to go hunting to find the actual file. Here's how I'd get started:

Open the Add-ons page using either:

  • Command+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then see whether you can remove that one, and disable any other suspicious, non-essential, or unrecognized extensions that could be part of the same infestation.

Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

Does that remove the toolbar?
