How can I mark certain emails as spam
Nothing ever goes into my Spam folder and I would like to mark certain emails as spam so that future emails from the same address will go direct to my spam folder

Some e-mail providers have a sorting option for incoming mail. Check with your provider.
Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
