I was getting an error message about cache quantity reached. I uninstalled everything, it would not let me clear the email account I had loaded it, I deleted the files for that email address, reinstalled it, and now got this message: "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." It is obvious I deleted something I shouldn't have in the first uninstall, now how do I fix it?

Thanks!

Laura

can we start right as the beginning with a new profile, like you had never installed Thunderbird before? If so;

Type on the start menu/search %appdata%\Thunderbird and press enter. there will be a file in the folder names Profiles.inin. Delete it. Restart Thunderbird.

You have just deleted the reference file that tells Thunderbird where your profile is located. On restart you should be prompted to set up email account as if you had never had Thunderbird before.
