I've just purchased my new Razer Deathadder Chroma which has two thumb buttons. I wanted a mouse with thumb buttons so that I could bind it as my "Push to talk" on Teamspeak 3. So now I face a problem of not being able to talk on Teamspeak without going back a page on Firefox. I would be grateful if someone could inform me of a fix :)

Note: I'm unable to figure out how to do it through Razer synapse.

Thanks for your time!

Without diving into the details of the mouse driver settings, perhaps this will work: disabling the Backspace button from going "Back" on the assumption that is how the mouse driver works.

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste back and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the browser.backspace_action preference and change the value from 0 to 2 (or anything other than 0 or 1) and then click OK.

(FYI - setting it to 1 causes the Backspace key to behave like Page Up which I think would be equally annoying)
