Updated to Windows 10, logged on as *****@gmail.com, set up desktop which already showed Thunderbird with my gmail account. This works OK, but I still have a talktalk email account, and if I log on as *****@talktalk.net, I can see both accounts in Thunderbird and check all mail at once. When logged on as *****@gmail.com I cannot find a way to add my talktalk email account to Thunderbird. There seems to be no option to add an account.

I saw that answer on the web, but I couldn't find any 'Tools' button. When I open Thunderbird I get a toolbar with

Get Messages - Write - Chat - Addess Book - Tag - Quick Filter.

On the right hand end of this there is a drop-down button (three bars) which offers Activity Manager. Under this is Tools, but not the right one. The item to pick is Options, which the offers Account Settings and at the left side of that window underneath the box showing details of existing accounts, there is a box 'Account Actions'. This offers, among other things, 'Add an Account' which then does what is wanted.
