I have stored password and credentials to a website but in several instances they are not being showed in the list of saved passworlds. I have this problem with mbs2.microsoft.com and grooveshark.com. The websites automatically log in when I enter the page, but I cannot review my information in Firefox > about:preferences#security.

A detail like a website remembering you (log you in automatically) is stored in a cookie. So it appears that you have such a 'remember me' cookie from those websites.

You can use these steps to make a website recognize and remember you:

  • Create a cookie 'allow' exception to keep such cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
  • Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions

You can remove the cookies from a website to make the website forget about you.

If a name and password is stored in the Password Manager then it should appear there.

  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

The information may be stored under a different name.
