Have already tried disabling Adblock Plus but there is always just a spinning wheel on a black video screen. The weather.com videos will play just fine in Safari browser without having to do anything. Have tried disabling Adblock Plus with no results. Also, do not have Flash Player installed as I will not be installing it. Do I need to completely uninstall Adblock Plus to watch the videos?

Extra note:

Uninstalling Adblock Plus apparently made no difference as all weather.com videos are still the same:

Loading.... (spinning wheel above it) -- on a black screen

The videos only play with Flash for me on Linux and not with the HTML5 media player.

What player is used in Safari if it is working there?

Some on a PC Help forum told me to do this:

Just do a refresh of firefox, you won't loose bookmarks etc https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...s-and-settings

then run speedfox

Out of desperation after several frustrating hours of trying everything else that all kinds of sources suggested, I tried that. I was afraid I'd have a real mess reinstalling and resetting things, but just had to reset my home page and turn on the bookmarks toolbar. It took a few minutes but all my original AddOns and Extensions came back intact and set like I had them before.

And it WORKS !! Now I can use NoScript without any problems like before when I would allow something but it would remain blocked. And I can see Weather Channel video for the first time, and the PhotoBucket links work again.

Why couldn't Mozilla Support tell me that?
