Two different websites, even google map cannot find my location but geo position is enabled and permissions are given. Google maps says your location could not be determined. Everything works fine on Chrome. This started a few days ago, before that everything was working fine.

While on maps.google.com, click the lock icon to the left of the URL in the top bar. Click More information.... Click the "Permissions" tab. Underneath the "Access Your Location" heading, click the "Allow" button.

If you receive an error like "Your location cannot be determined," two things might have happened: The page took too long to load, so Maps stopped working. They couldn’t get an accurate read on where you are.

Here are a few tips: Refresh your page. Check to make sure you have a strong Internet connection. Double check your permission settings in the instructions above. Ref:https://support.google.com/maps/answer/152197?hl=en

What kind of connection do you use?

"Location-Aware Browsing" is only useful if you connect via a wireless access point. If Geolocation isn't used then websites can do a reverse DNS look up of your IP address and that is usually not very accurate. Firefox will always ask for permission before using Geolocation.

You can check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":
