I still have many emails in Eudora 7.1.0.9 on my Windows XP computer. Is there a way to archive them, move the file(s) to my Windows 7 computer and view them? Thunderbird would be ideal but a separate program would be acceptable.

Install Thunderbird 3.1 on your XP machine and allow the import from Eudora to run.

Then move he profile folder created to your windows 7 machine.

Start menu type (%appdata% and press enter. copy the Thunderbird folder shown in explorer and it's sub folders.

On windows 7 type the same appdata command into the start menu. It will open a new location, but the correct location.

Copy the Thunderbird profile in it's entirety to the location that opened in windows 7. Note if you install Thunderbird first, there will be a Thunderbird folder to overwrite, so you know your in the right place.
