I'm a relatively new computer user and because I was having trouble with Internet Explorer, a friend installed Firefox on my computer. I have Century Link and when I tried to get my e-mails, I received a message: Firefox detected server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. Problem can be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. I spoke with a Century Link tech and he tried everything he could to solve the problem of not getting e-mails on Firefox. Would appreciate any ideas/suggestions that would solve this problem. Thank you.

In your Subject Line you say you installed Foxfire, not Firefox that is an app. Have you installed any apps lately, some app might be causing your e-mails not to download. What OS you using, have you updated everything? What about FF version, are you up to date on that as well. Something sounds like it might be conflicting. I have no idea about Century Link sorry.

brecken What kind of problems were you having before? And what did the support person already try?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,
