I just installed 64-bit Firefox v44. It will not let me enable Social Fixer with xpinstall.signatures.required set to false. It works fine in 32-bit Firefox v44. 

(I'm not much on using Facebook in the first place, but without this add-on, it's unbearable.)

try this addon, I use it and have not had any problems.......checkCompatibility.....you hsve to check it now and again though to restart addons after FF checks
