Hi

I'm using thunderbird v38.5.1 with two mail accounts One uses imap and has no problem downloading all emails the other uses pop and stops downloading emails from the server It shows below: '59 messages to download Dowloading messages 1..... and suddenly after downloading couple of messages it stops and indicates: "no messages to download"

Meanwhile new messages are there on the server to be downloaded

I'd apreciate any support! Thanks Vincent

It sounds as if there is an email on the server causing a log jam.

This email may be in a 'Spam' folder. Logon to webmail account using a browser and empty the 'Spam' folder.

In Thunderbird Try to 'Get Messages' for that pop mail account.

If still a problem, then make a note of the last email to download to TB. Look in webmail account Inbox to see which would be the next email to download. Move it to another folder.

then in thunderbird, retry Get Messages.
