An apparent plug-in problem causes Firefox to crash periodically. On submission of the error report, a message states that “There was a problem submitting the report”. How can this information be forwarded to Mozilla?

Thanks for your help.

Keazen oplossing

It is possible that security software (anti-virus, firewall) is causing problems. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

You can check for issues caused by plugins.

  • set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the about:addons page (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins)
  • plugins are not affected by Firefox Safe Mode

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and hardware acceleration in Firefox and try this:
