This is the icon and/or text identifying the site which is found after the padlock on the left-hand side of the address bar. Any info on how to turn it off so that it is not displayed would be appreciated!

It is def not recommended to turn that off. Best I can come up with is a partial turn off. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mixed-content-blocking-firefox Stick around maybe someone else will know more. G'luck

The System Delete list next to the question shows that you run an older Firefox 33 version that is no longer supported with security updates. Always update Firefox and Add-ons to the latest versions to get all security fixes.

Please update to Firefox 45.0 that has just been released.
