videos from pornhub and youporn used to load fast before the latest update to firefox. youtube still loads fast but not pornhub and youporn. before a video used to load in a few mins. now it takes over an hour.

Hi there. Could be Firefox, could be a Plugin, could be a network issue, or even external interference. I have a hunch here though, as Youtube uses HTML5 and the other sites use Flash to play video.

Let's start with Firefox. Your browser looks a little messy - there are two Shockwave plugins for starters, and I didn't know Nokia Suite and Blackberry still exist. How old is your profile (i.e. when did you first install Firefox and start updating)? It might be crapping out on you - trimming excess add-ons and cache/cookies is a good start for troubleshooting a profile. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons for how to remove add-ons and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache for cache clearance (if you're feeling crafty, you can use your History to "forget" about a site, i.e. clear all cache and cookies related to it).

Once basic profile maintenance is complete, visit https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ to verify you've got the Flash plugin and that it is up to date. A reinstall might be in order if the version checks out.

If Flash is still slow after reinstalling, try disabling its Protected Mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/adobe-flash-protected-mode-firefox.

Hopefully a fresh cache and plugin(s) are all that is needed (i.e. you don't need to Refresh your profile yet).

There is an update to Firefox coming out already. It will change from Firefox 45.0.0 to Fx45.0.1 that may have improvements to how it handles FlashPlayer. See

Are you now using Fx45.0.1 ?

I also note two versions of Shockwave Director are installed, is that even needed at all. The version of FlashPlayer shows on the forum as Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 The forum software does not display the full version number but for Windows it should now be 21.0.0.182 so please visit the adobe test site with Firefox to check that is what you now have.

Mozilla's plugincheck may be used, but sometimes that has had issues. It is more reliable to check with the Adobe site. You have probably noticed Adobe's FlashPlayer updates quite often - usually for security reasons.
