mozilla disabled WOT instructed me to download the signed version, however it also disallowed this why?
my PC keeps crashing so I was following the instructions in Mozilla help, I noticed that Mozilla had disabled WOT because it has no signature, i located the version specific for Mozilla at first it would not let me connect to the download, eventually I connected and clicked on the save file button, however, when I went into downloads I saw that the download had failed, Help

You should be able to download the Web of Trust add-on from here. I have just tried it myself and it downloaded and installed very easily.
