In the list of emails in TB there is a giant space between date and subject (about the half the screen). It is so large that I have to move the list pane to completely reveal the name of the sender. How do I eliminate the big space? I have tried everything and cannot seem to find a control that fixes this. It came up suddenly. Closing and reopening TB doesn't help. (TB 38.7.2)

Well, if you have tried everything there is nothing else to suggest.

Maybe you mean everything you can think of.

How about moving your mouse to the divider line between Subject and Date, watch for it to change to a double headed arrow, left click, hold and drag left?

That is how you resize columns.
