Bank of Ireland says don't use Firefox (or Safari) for logging in because valid input isn't parsed correctly (true) - use IE instead (it works, too).
When I log in to my account with Bank of Ireland, using the correct password, memorable number sequence, etc, it returns as invalid and if I repeat it freezes my account. When getting it unfrozen with the Bank's online assistance, they asked "Are you using Firefox or Safari?" I said Firefox. They said. "That's causing us trouble. Try using IE instead." I did - and continue to do so without any problem. What is Mozilla doing to fix this issue?

Hi, I can't find any records of us having this as a known issue. It is possible the Bank of Ireland hasn't reported it to us yet.
Could you file an issue here on the web compatibility site: https://webcompat.com/?open=1
That will get folks to look at it and see if they can work out where the issue is.
Separate Issue; Your System Details shows;
Installed Plug-ins
Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 15.8.20082
Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.12
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape: Adobe Reader Version 2015.016.20039 Note: Other Software is offered in the download.

I just logged in successfully for the first time in weeks. Many thanks.
