I created a webdriver object in selenium and instantiated for firefox driver.

Code is shown below: WebDriver driver; System.setProperty("webdriver.gecko.driver", "C:\\selenium-java\\geckodriver-v0.11.1-win32\\geckodriver.exe"); driver = new FirefoxDriver();

driver.get("www.yahoo.com");

How ever after firefox is launched , URL is being changed to chrome://browser/content/www.yahoo.com and giving below error:

File not found

Firefox can’t find the file at chrome://browser/content/www.yahoo.com.

   Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
   Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

Can anyone please help.

I have firefox with 49 version.
