Having been thoroughly underwhelmed with Apple's new MacBook Pro 2016 line, I am now back on a PC and have installed Thunderbird for my email client.

One thing I miss so far is the MacMail "whoosh" sound upon sending an email. Is there a way via settings or add-ons to enable this in Thunderbird?

Install ToneQuilla Set up a filter to play an audio file on sending, using "match all messages". Repeat for each and every account you might send "from".
