Bought new laptop and currently in transition between this and old one. I have set my 3 email accounts in Thunderbird and one of them is not receiving all the email sent to it. I know this because I am able to compare, using my old machine.

It might be your email server. Yahoo got hacked recently and has stepped up their security for email access.

You have choices: access any Yahoo email accounts from the Yahoo website directly; install the Yahoo Mail desktop app; set up a specific account key for each Yahoo email account you're trying to access using Thunderbird; degrade the security level to allow "less secure" apps to access your Yahoo email accounts.

How do I know this? I'm going through the process at the moment with Yahoo. The discreet account key is the easiest. Once the key is self-generated on the Yahoo website you use it in lieu of your email account password in Thunderbird.
