The yahoo mail page appears as normal but the buttons at the top are missing and i cant open any emails even though the recent emails are there right in front of me. Have tried everything I can but its always the same. Works fine on Chrome so Im using that but I liked Firefox.

Hmm. It could have been a corrupt file that was replaced. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.

Thanks FredMcD. I had already cleared cookies and cache a couple of times without any success(via menu, then history tab and clearing history there are options to clear cookies and cache etc). Today I just logged into yahoo mail on firefox as normal not expecting it to work - and it works! So I'm mystified ***
