How do I browse bookmarks if they are hidden in the home panel settings

more options

I've asked this question before and got no answer and as a result I've simply been managing without bookmarks for quite some time.

I have the bookmarks, history and top sites panels turned off for privacy reasons, I don't like my browsing habits to be displayed every time I open a new tab, especially if I'm working on-site with a client. However, since there is no other way to browse the bookmarks and history, turning off these panels to all intents and purposes disables these features. How do I get to them without re-enabling the panels and leaking my personal data? I know that bookmarks show up in search suggestions, but this isn't the same as being able to browse them.

The only way to browse through your bookmarks is the bookmark panel. As you mentioned you can find bookmarks by searching for the names or addresses.

If that is the case then why is there an option to switch it off thus making the feature inaccessible? The search suggestions just aren't good enough. If there is no intention to provide an alternative way to properly access bookmarks, then the ability to switch off the bookmarks panel should be removed, since as it stands the option makes no sense.

I think all or nearly all of my bookmarks show up if I type ht in the address bar (as in http or https, which should match all of your website bookmarks). Does that work for you?

Note: I don't use search suggestions, so I didn't have that additional distraction.
