Is this to log in to an an email account? Every email account I have ever had or used has demanded that I identify myself to prove that I am entitled to use it, and that involves knowing three things: the email address, a user name (usually the same as the email address), and its password. I suggest you contact your email provider and tell them about your troubles. They should have a means to re-set the account's password, or will explain what magical non-standard method they use instead to make sure that no-one other than you is able to use your email account.
