I got a new screen. E-mail font is very small. Need to make the e-mail font bigger so I can read it.

I bought a new 22 inch monitor. The font is so small on the e-mail that we can't read it. I want to know how to make the font larger. Also receiving a lot of junk at the bottom of e-mails.

Are all your programs small in the new monitor? If so, there are general text size settings in your operating system .

If just Thunderbird is affected then read on…

For message text size, in Thunderbird go to

Tools|Options|Display|Formatting

and set the display font size. I'd recommend going to Advanced and looking at all the settings too.

If your menus and message listings are also small, you'll probably need an add-on, Theme Font And Size Changer.

There is more on these topics here: http://xenos-email-notes.simplesite.com/417754775

If you use Firefox, it can be adjusted in the same way, and can use the same add-on.

Nothing recommended seems to work. I tried to duplicate settings of another computer. still no increase in size of incoming email type.

I don't have this option: Tools|Options|Display|Formatting Formatting does not show.
