tab won't open to homepage

When I click on new tab. The page does not open to my homepage.

I didn't save the goop that appeared. I did discover there is an add on I can use. That did take some finding. :( I believe this is now working.

You can't tell us what page it was ? What add-on have you used ? (All a bit vague ..... )
