Dates are declared as YYYY-MM-DD in my locales. It worked well in the past, but firefox was upgraded to Quantum last week and now, I get MM-DD-YYYY, which is the worse option for me...

Taking a guess here, as some MS Updates came out. Do you want to please check your system clock.

Double click the clock on the Task Bar and check that your Time is set Correctly as well as your date format. It can be changed here if it is wrong. Will need a reboot for system wide.

Personally I like how it is done here : dd/mm/yr it makes more sense.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thanks for the answer but unfortunately it does not help. - The date on my clock is correctly written 2017-12-01 according to what is defined in my locales

- what you like (dd-mm-yy) could be acceptable because it is the usual way people write it in Europe, but what I usually use (yyyy-mm-dd) is the only "sortable" format...

- and what I get (mm-dd-yyyy: American format) is really horrible for Europeans...

I see this problem in browsing history Most Recent Visit date and time (that needs first to be selected to see it in the first place) . Please, note that it's not only the date that is "wrong", also time is 12 hours AM/PM instead of the desired 24 hours time.

You can try the en-GB Firefox version to see if that makes a difference.
