Currently running on Android 7.1.1. Addons: ublock, https everywhere, and privacy badger.

The sluggish page loading only happens when I start the application. After loading the first page, other pages load fast. After removing the app from memory or exiting the app by the "quit" button, I open the app again to find that loading a page takes a long time.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

it can be related to your hardware like your router/gateway etc.

It's not related to any hardware except the browser itself.

I have a 100% repro, I open the www.espn.com/nba/scoreboard page and if FF was closed, it takes up to 40 seconds to load the page on my Redmi 3x device. No addons, nothing, just a page set as top site.

Tried reinstall, clearing cache, data, settings for fonts (read a post somewhere), nothing helps.

And it's not just this page, it happens randomly, e.g. for a simple google search.
