Can I put "From" and "Subject" in the same vertical column. So that each row has 2 lines?

I am moving from WLM. I have configured my Thunderbird layout to Vertical View. This gets me close to what I am used to, but not quite there.

In WLM, the From and the Subject are both in the same vertical column. So each email in the window has 2 lines. First line has the subject, second line has the sender. I find this display style to be much easier on the eyes, as my eyes look at just 1 spot to see the sender and subject simultaneously. In Thunderbird my eye has to has to horizontally scroll across the screen to discover the sender and subject.

No.

There is an open bug asking for the two line summary as seen in other email clients.

You can rearrange the columns by dragging their heading buttons, if that helps at all.
