Android has a method for opening links in default applications. i.e. If the OS detects a support link like www.reddit.com, it will automatically open the link in a supported application instead of the web browser. Chrome seems to do this but Firefox for Android does not. Is this a bug or a feature that hasn't been implemented?

Hi

I might be a little of both and neither. It may be something that we have not implemented yet or are unable to for technical reasons.

We are also big supporters of making sure that users have control over their information and this may have driven the decision not to include this as a feature at this time.
