Everytime I try to delete a message it seems to freeze the next operation. I can't move to the next message unless I open it in a new tab. Please Help!

I highlight a selected message and delete it. Rather than delete and move onto the next message which used to happen, the preview window freezes on the message I have tried deleting. The only way I can move onto the next message is to open it in a new tab.

Have you compacted your folders recently? This removes all the 'marked as deleted' emails from the file.

However, as things seem a bit too slow and freezing.... Suggest you move all good emails out of the 'Inbox' into other suitable folders. You do not usually need to do this prior to compacting, but as you are experiencing freezing, I would recommend it - just in case there is some corruption in the Inbox file. Then right click on 'Inbox' and select 'Compact'.

Remember to empty the Junk and then compact that file as well.
