Thunderbird connected to a Kerio 9.2.6 server that use as SMTP Amazon SES
I use Thunderbird connected in IMAP to a server Kerio 9.2.6 that use (to send email out of my domain) as SMTP the service Amazon SES. I have three Thunderbird and usually I can send to more than 50 addresses, but sometimes one of the Thunderbird doesnt't permit to send to more than 50 addresses, answering "Action: failed, Status: 5.3.2, Remote-MTA: email-smtp.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com, Diagnostic-Code: SMTP; 554 Transaction failed: Recipient count exceeds 50.". I know that Amazon SES has that limit, if I insert as SMTP Amazon SES directly in Thunderbird I know that I cannot send to more than 50 addresses but using the server Kerio the limit usually doesn't appear... On the others Thunderbird (and also using other client) I have no problem... The versione of Thunderbird is the last, 52.8.0 (32 bit). Can someone help me? Thanks

That error message is from the server, not Thunderbird.
Thunderbird does indeed have a limit, but the unusual wording suggests it is based on character count rather than an absolute number of addressees. The usual recommendation to sidestep this built-in limit is to use a Mailing List.
