I have reduced the filtering on my Tbird prgm but I still never see all but a few incoming emails. What's up??
For at least a month my inbound email traffic has almost disappeared. Trash mailbox only includes deleted messages. Junk mailbox is empty. When I log into my email account on my iPhone, the junk file is full of messages I did not read or see in the In Box but at least they are there. I have selected ones I want to see and read and forwarded them to my Inbox at my regular email address. The first time I did that, the messages were posted to my In Box on Tbird. The second time, most were lost. Today, not a single message was sent to my Inbox on Tbird.
I have no known filters on my email account with Gmail, and I have tried to remove any filtering in Tbird (when I reviewed the filter dialogue box it did show to delete junk mail, and I unchecked the option.) The fact that Google is selecting which messages go to my inbox on my iPhone, maybe the problem is at Google. But I am at my wits end and Tbird, which I have used for years, never had any of these problems and the support questions and answers do not pertain to what to do in this case.

Are you using POP or IMAP ?
