i received an untrusted connection warning and selected deny any connection Now Firefox will not connect to the internet at all

more options

I am on the beta update version of Firefox Quantum - on a MacBook Pro Laptop [OS High Sierra 10.13.6] and get regular updates

I was on version 63.ob14 and restarted Firefox after a force quit of the app due to slowness - I received two warnings - one saying that Firefox was already open and I couldn't open another - the other warning saying that there was an untrusted - not sending a code certificate - and giving two options... 1. not require all connections to provide a certificate or 2. Deny all connections

I chose the latter and now Firefow will load pages but not connect to the Internet

How do I fix this?...

Hi markthomas3148, have you tried shutting down and restarting your Mac since this problem began? That could help work around locked files or some other glitches.

Next, what do you mean by "load pages but not connect to the Internet"? Does Firefox seem to be working "offline" with cached pages and not updating them? There is a command for "Work Offline" on either the File menu or the Firefox menu. You could check whether that is enabled.

And that message you described, it doesn't sound like a Firefox dialog. Could it be from your security/firewall software?
