I've transfert my windows thunderbird profile to a linux machine (profile folder copy), but the password manager shows none of the saved passwords and none is used in the new environment, even if the files all copied. All other settings / mail accounts are there!

What is wrong with thunderbird? I don't get it, why is there now option, to export/import a full profile with all password settings.

So, how can I get my thunderbird on linux work, without putting all password manual back?

I think you just have to delete the pkcs11.txt file:
