The OP is talking about bookmark folders, not individual bookmark favicons.

That can probably be done via userChrome.css. I have done that with the old Legacy versions of Firefox, but In changed the way I view my bookmarks with Quantum Firefox 57+ versions, and I don't 'need' a customized folders for bookmarks any longer.

None of the above options work with v73 of Firefox. I would love to be able to customize my default icons for each folder to help organize them. Plus some local bookmark just show the stupid globe icon which I would like to get rid of. Any way to accomplish that??
