Re; Box FileLink
File versions not working when uploading files to Box in Thunderbird.
According to Box the API call needs to be changed. Here is the response from Box:
"Thank you for the provided information. I can see that the error being recorded is a naming conflict error, so it makes sense that the issue is resolved once you change the file name. The reason that this error is being thrown instead of the file version being incremented is that there is actually a different API call for uploading a new file version as opposed to just uploading a file: https://developer.box.com/reference#upload-a-new-version-of-a-file-1. So the app would need to be configured to make this API call in these scenarios. "

I've located a bug report and mentioned the issue. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1441234
OK, some additional info. Latest version 68.0 has just been released and Box.com has been removed from Thunderbird in that release. So it looks like they are not going to do any bugwork on versions that are not current; prior to version 68.0
If not currently using version 68.0, you would need to uninstall current version, then get download from this link and install.
Version 68 release notes:
FileLink: WeTransfer is already included. Dropbox and Box.com using the new WebExtensions FileLink API are available as add-ons, amongst others.
Box.com has been removed, but is now available as an addon:
Please try this out and report back on results, both in this forum question and to the author of the addon.
I'm getting the same results with the addon and v68.
Thanks for posting issue. I noticed you have also posted the problem for the author to see.
