Firefox Sync does not sync bookmarks from Android to macOS

Hi!

With the current version of Firefox installed on a Macbook and an Android phone and Firefox Sync (only bookmarks selected) setup on both of them, I can sync on both device without any error message.

After the sync, there is a new "Desktop Bookmarks" folder on the Android phone which contains all bookmarks from the Mac – nice!

On the Mac, however, the bookmarks from the Android phone don't show up. Searching for a bookmark created on the Android phone prior to the sync returns nothing on the Mac.

In the old days, there used to be a top level item "Mobile Bookmarks" on the desktop browser. There's no such thing on my Mac browser unless if I enable it explicitly with "about:config". But even in this "Mobile Bookmarks" folder, the bookmarks from the Android phone don't show up and the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder itself is removed again after the next app restart.

I've already verified the places.sqlite on the Mac with "about:support".

Thanks a lot for your hints!

Cheers, -sven

Keazen oplossing

Figured it out: The bookmarks from Android are indeed synced into "Mobile Bookmarks", but my Firefox profile on the Android device was somewhat broken. Re-installing Firefox fixed the problem.
