Hi,

So everytime I start Firefox, there's an empty tab. Clicked on a link on Google's assistant while no tabs were open on Firefox? Well, now I got two open tabs, one with the link I wanted and a useless, empty one. I finish my search and try to close that tab, boom, a new one appears. I don't know if there's a setting to not have that tab open anymore. I would much prefer having a completely black screen over having to manage an extra tab, since I usually don't open my links directly on Firefox, but rather from other apps (Reddit, Google assistant, Gmail). Picture showing said tab attached.

Thanks in advance!

If you do not restore tabs, Firefox for Android usually shows a tab with predefined content like Top Sites, Bookmarks, and/or History. Yours is completely blank? I don't know whether there is a way to display Firefox with zero tabs.

Hi,

It's indeed completely blank.

I disabled top sites and bookmarks, since I prefer not having to watch those everytime I open the browser. I guess that's why my tab is blank.

However, even if it weren't completely empty, I would rather not have it. I want to see only the tabs that I open intentionally, like on Chrome.

Hi

As with Firefox on the desktop, there will always be one tab that is open, otherwise the browser would be closed.
