I use Firefox as my browser to log into my.yahoo home page. A few days ago I noticed when logged into my yahoo account that I would keep having to re-log in even though I checked to box with AT&T to say logged in for 2 weeks. This is only happening to my email, portfolio and calendar windows. Part two is I cannot log into my yahoo/AT&T home page from my Firefox app on my iPhone. This also started a few days ago. All updates for Firefox and iOS have been installed. Tried to contact AT&T but the phone wait times have been 40+ minutes and they have not resolved anything.

As to the first part:

Your ‘logged-in’ status is stored in special cookies. If the cookie is removed, you are logged out.

You may be in Private Browsing mode or told Firefox not to remember.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

Still have the same issue. I am thinking this is an AT&T issue because I can get my home page on Yahoo to open it's just these other two panes within the Yahoo home page that require constant signing in.

I had this problem, too. I ran the "free up disk space" utility under the Security options in Control Panel and it fixed it (although I still have to sign in at the start of a new boot-up session). I'm guessing that some cookie or file in Firefox was corrupted and this cleaned it out.

That didn't solve my issue with Firefox on my laptop. However after three different departments with AT&T I finally got a technician that was aware of my log in issue. It was do to a update they had made to their servers. A few days later I did a "refresh" to my Firefox account and fixed. Now if I can just get the log in issue solved on my iPhone. Again I think this is an AT&T issue not Firefox.
