Hello!

Downloading anything is doing it at your own risk. If you have visited or downloaded anything from a malicious website then you should check it with your antivirus.

What you could do is to report the website you've tried downloading the ebook: 1. Click on Open Menu on the top right corner of you screen (the three lines stacked on each other) 2. Move down to the bottom and click on Help then once you're in there click on Report Deceptive Website and copy + paste the website's link on the report page.

Sounds you have stored an automatic action for this MIME type to open this content in Firefox instead of using an application that can handle eBooks.

You get tabs opening endlessly if you select Firefox as the application to handle a file when you get an "Open with" dialog.
