After installing Firefox on iPad running layest version of iOS, I noticed that Safari had disappeared. Since other iPad users have both browsers on their iPads, I am hoping someone can tell me either; 1) is Safari still on my iPad somewhere (it's not in the cloud, I already checked), or. 2) where can I get a replacement version of Safari, as it is not on the App site, and Apple has yet to release the latest version. Any help, or insight would be most appreciated.

Both are on mine after updating to iPadOS 14 this morning.

To see if it’s on your iPad, drag one finger down from the middle of the home screen to bring up the search bar. Search for Safari.

Thank you for your response. I am also running iOS 14, and had hoped this latest download would include the new version of Safari, but it did not. I had tried "search" previously without success, and did so again after installing iOS 14, but was again unsuccessful. I also checked my iCloud "backup", which has seemingly backed up everything -- except -- Safari. At this point I am baffled, not only as as to why Safari was apparently deleted, but why restoring Safari is such a problem, as it is seemingly unavailable for download from either the App store or the Apple support site. If I eventually solve the problem, I will post the solution here, although this seems to be an uncommon problem.

If you haven't, you might post this on the Apple support site also to see if anyone there has experienced the same problem.
